These Terms of Service (“Terms”) govern your access to and use of the Vel mobile and web application (“App”) operated by Christian Velez (“Developer”, “we”, “our”, or “us”). By creating an account or using the App, you agree to be bound by these Terms.
The App may be used by individuals of any age. Users under the age of 18 may only use the App with the understanding that all content is self-managed and that no interaction with other users is provided. By using the App, you represent that you have the legal capacity to accept these Terms.
vel is a personal finance organization tool that allows users to manually enter and manage financial data such as accounts, balances, and transactions. The App may use machine learning models developed and hosted by the Developer to automatically classify user-entered data.
The App does not provide financial, investment, tax, or legal advice. All information displayed is for informational and organizational purposes only. Any decisions made based on the use of the App are solely the responsibility of the user.
Use of the App requires the creation of an account. You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials and for all activities that occur under your account. You agree to provide accurate and up-to-date information.
You agree not to misuse the App, including but not limited to attempting to reverse engineer, disrupt, or abuse the service, or use it for unlawful purposes.
The Developer reserves the right to suspend or terminate user accounts at any time if these Terms are violated or if the App is used in a manner that may cause harm, abuse, or legal risk.
The App is currently provided free of charge. The Developer reserves the right to introduce paid features or subscriptions in the future. Any changes to pricing will be communicated clearly before they take effect.
All rights, title, and interest in and to the App, including its design, branding, and software, are owned by the Developer. You may not copy, modify, distribute, or resell any part of the App without prior written permission.
The App is provided “as is” without warranties of any kind. To the maximum extent permitted by law, the Developer shall not be liable for any direct or indirect damages, including financial losses, arising from the use or inability to use the App.
These Terms may be updated from time to time. Continued use of the App after changes are posted constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.
These Terms are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of Mexico, without regard to conflict of law principles.
